WaggilyButt Web Services was founded in 2003 by entrepreneur Tom Hamilton. Tom's background in business and his passion for helping others, assists his clients in realizing their objectives on the web. Tom has a worked in retail sales, commercial finance, & consultative medical sales. He earned an undergraduate degree from Eckerd College as a student in the PEL program. In 2003 seeing the future of the internet, he earned a Certificate in Web Design at the Pinellas Technical Education Center. Currently, Tom continues to educate himself on the current trends on the web, and how these trends can help you, the client, meet and exceed your expectations for your web prescence. He has leveraged his skill set and has developed creative alliances with individuals that have diverse skill sets, such as graphic design, search engine optimization, social networking, web design and development. All of these experiences add value for the client of WaggilyButt Web services designed to help the client connect with their end user (customer) in an easy to communicate fashion. Why the name WaggilyButt?
Tom & his wife Carolyn, (WB's Graphic Design Manager) had a beloved dog named Rutger. Rutger was adopted from Pinellas County Animal Services and he had no tail. When he was happy he would wag his rear-end. Tom & Carolyn thought this was funny and called him "Rutger, the dog with the Waggily Butt". Tom's passion for New Orleans and its music reminded him of the hip music bar in the Big Easy named the Funky Butt. Putting two and two together WaggilyButt was born. People love the name and it makes them smile when they hear it. We hope you enjoy it as well.
